Sottocolle – Il Corniale
The Syrah grapes with which we produce this wine come from vineyards whose soils contain a large quantity of siliceous fossil minerals. We believe that this feature gives the wines a certain flavor and minerality that perfectly combines the notes of pepper and spices typical of the grape. The wine has a deep ruby red color, elegant notes of red fruit, black pepper and herbaceous notes on the nose.
On the palate it is structured with fine tannins, harmonious and long aftertaste. It goes well with strong flavors, Tuscan and game dishes.

Destemming of the grapes, cold pre-fermentation maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 26-28 ° C.

Aging for 12 months in French oak barriques, completes the refinement in the bottle.
Manual harvest in boxes of 15 kg.
