After a journey of five years searching for the best vineyards and terroirs of Tuscany, crossing the wonderful places of this land, meeting people, listening to stories and legends, the Moriniello family finds in Montaione the ideal place to transform their dream in reality.

Valuing the extraordinary climatic qualities of the territory and making use of expert oenologists, today, the Tenuta Moriniello is a farm renowned for the quality of its wines.

The property covers about 40 hectares, all cultivated according to organic farming, of which 20 are planted with vineyards with Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Colorino, according to the best Chianti tradition, but also Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer for the production of wines with a more intense taste and rich in aromas.

Another 5 hectares of the property are planted with olive groves for the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Opening hours and services

Tenuta Moriniello awaits you for tastings* and sales every day during the following opening hours: from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.00.

*Tastings are carried out (in Italian and English) by appointment and for a minimum of 2 persons starting from € 10.00

Tenuta Moriniello also organizes Tuscan cooking classes by appointment where you will learn traditional Tuscan recipes and the best wine pairings. At the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued.
