Podere La Casetta is a farm owned by Alessandro and Stefania Tognetti, who, for 8 generations has deeply linked its name to the territory and to wine products of excellence.

Located on the top of a hill overlooking the characteristic village of Montaione and surrounded by its vineyards, Podere La Casetta has a cellar of 400 sqm all basements to ensure a constant and natural temperature of 18 ° C  throughout the year.

Here, in three distinct areas - the first one is where vinification takes place in concrete tanks for a total capacity of 1000 hectoliters, while the other two houses the barricades and the vats in which the wine is aged - the production of wines take place with grapes exclusively of their own production and vinified individually to maximize the qualities of the grape from which the grapes come.

Following strict organic farming rules that exclude the use of chemicals additives at any stage, in according with the Tuscan tradition, without sacrificing the application of the latest technologies, when these can enhance the qualitative characteristics of the product, the wines of the Podere La Casetta (some of which have received important awards from the international press) range from Chianti to Chianti Riserva and various types of Supertuscans.

The wines of Podere La Casetta are part of a wider production that goes under the name of "Poderi Tognetti" which also includes Extra Virgin Olive Oil, various types of bread and "Cinta Senese" salami.

In a welcoming and elegant ambience, Podere La Casetta is available during opening hours or upon reservation for visits to the cellar and guided wine tours.
