Rosè wines

To meet the growing demand for this type of wine, in the territory of Montaione many producers have started producing rosé wines in compliance with the “Toscana IGT” specification with excellent results.

Rosé wines – produced from black berried grapes, reducing the maceration times in contact with the skins and pips so that only a small part of the coloring substances and tannins is transferred to the wine – are suitable for an aperitif, as well as to dishes for which a red wine is too structured and a white wine too light, for this reason they are increasingly sought after by consumers and connoisseurs.
