Golf Club Toscana Resort Castelfalfi

Castelfalfi Golf Club is located in Montaione County, right in between Florence, Pisa and Siena. The 1.100-hectar Castelfalfi Estate gives its guests the opportunity to play golf while contemplating the charming views of the typical Tuscan countryside characterized by vineyards, olive groves, sunflowers, cypresses, and old “casali”.

In this spectacular context, two golf course have been laid out in the heart of Tuscany. The Mountain Course with its18-hole layout, and the Lake Course, a 9-hole course.

Both the Mountain Course and the Lake Course are designed so that fairways 1 and 10, and fairways 9 and 18 start and finish respectively at the clubhouse. Both courses can now be combined at any time to offer ever-new playing situations.

Thanks to Tuscany's mild climate it is possible to play golf year-round.
However, the best time of the year to play golf at Castelfalfi are Spring and Fall.

The MOUNTAIN COURSE - 18 Holes

The Mountain Course (par 72, 6,351 meters) has both front and back nine begin and end south of where the clubhouse is located and are built so that golfers can experience the stunning views, no matter which nine they play first. Thanks to the existing woodland, the Mountain Course is structured so that, with few exceptions, one has the feeling of individuality on each fairway.

The topography of the land and its incorporation into the landscape give each hole an individual character and gift players with unforgettable memories.

In particular, breathtaking holes such as number 9 and 18, which dive down to a peninsular green in the direction of the Castello, provide a real enrichment to a game of golf.

The LAKE COURSE - 9 Holes

The 9-hole Lake Course (par 37, 3171 meters) begins and ends at the clubhouse as well. The Lake Course leads through the adjacent landscape to the southwest in a drawn-out loop that corresponds to the rolling hills of the cultivated Tuscan landscape. On this course the fairways are also individually designed and routed, so that each fairway has its own character and gives an individual impression.

The Lake Course will be expanded to 18 holes at a later date. Permission for expansion has already been granted.

CLUB

The “Golf Club Toscana Resort Castelfalfi” Offers to its members and guests a large driving range, putting green and short game area. Rental clubs are also available as well as golf carts and electric trolleyes. Golfers can relax after their round sipping a drink on the terrace of our provvisional club house.

PRACTICE

The driving range, featuring target greens, the short game area and the putting green lie directly across from the clubhouse, while nestling between deciduous woods and olive groves. The driving range offers both grass tee boxes as well as sheltered hitting bays.

A second building on the range will host the golf school. Finally, there is a putting green next to the first hole of each golf course.
