One of the most exciting events in Montaione is with no doubt Montaione a Tavola an outdoor dinner carried out in the historical centre of Montaione at the end of july.
Montaione a Tavola is the right time for those who spend an holiday in Montaione to rediscover the traditional and typical recipes of the tuscan and Montaione cuisine, live the history of an ancient hamlet and experience the hospitality of people that make Montaione a really special place to stay.
Montaione a Tavola is organized by the Associazione Commercianti and partecipate all the restaurants of Montaione that present and offer to visitors, dishes prepared with the typical products of Montaione like Extra Vergine Oil of olive, Truffles, bread, sausage of Cinta Senese matched with wines produced in the local farms and tasted in an happy atmosphere.
The dinner will be opened by the major of Montaione Paola Rossetti with a message that will thank all the people attending the dinner.
To participate at the outdoor dinner, whith 200 vacancies at euro 20,00 per persons, is necessary to ask information at the newspaper kiosk in Via Scipione Ammirato. The gain will be totally given to charity.
