During all the year long and above all in summer time, in Tuscany and in Montaione are carried out typical handicraft markets.
In Montaione from may to september every first tuesday of the month in the historical centre there is a traditional market for Handicraft and Typical products that give all visitors the opportunity to buy the local handicraft and taste gastronomic specialities and typical products of our territory.
This is an unforgettable experience for those who spend and holiday in Tuscany to enjoy and live the medieval lifestyle walking through alleyways and roads of the medieval village of Montaione.
Visitors will be able to taste and buy Chianti wine, Extra vergine Oil of Olive, cheese and other specialities produced by the local farms that presents their products in the stands of the historical centre. Farms will be glad to offer you tastes and information about their products.
You will also be able to buy local handicraft like Terracotta, antique objects, onix, hand painted ceramics, taking home a little piece of Tuscany.
During this event all shops in the historical centre of Montaione will be open till late evening.
