The Festival of Home Cooking Cake carry out in the historical centre of Montaione (Repubblica Square) two times per year: once at the end of may and once at the beginning of september.
During this festival, all the families of Montaione prepare a cake following the Tuscan cooking tradition with genuine ingredients and offering the cakes to all those who will partecipate at the festival.
In this occasion in the centre of Montaione is equipped a culinary stand where it will be possible to taste the cakes and other speciality of the Tuscan and Montaione cuisine. All the cooks that will prepare a cake, will be offered by the "Associazione Commercianti di Montaione" a gift and a participating certificate.
This is an ideal occasion for all those who will spend and holiday in Tuscany to taste the specialities of Montaione's cuisine spending and enjoing a happy time.
